BRAVO!!! STURDY WELL PRICED DRIP HANGERS!

I have been looking for many years to replace the drip hanger someone made for me. None of them seemed sturdy enough to me--the clips were too cheap. These clips are sturdy and if they fall off you can easily reattach them. I bought three sets of these as I don't have a dryer. They are perfect for all my drying needs.

I have two over the door hangers and I hang three drip hangers on each one. this gives me 48 drip clips to hang socks, undies, delicates, tea towels etc. They dry so quickly this way--some in a few hours, and some overnight. I use the other set of drip hangers to hang larger items in the bathroom. I am not so thrilled with the safety catch at the top of the hanger. This is so the hanger does not blow away during outside drying. But it is easily enough overcome. So I did not delete a star because of this. If you dry outside it is perfect. I am so thrilled with them. I expect they will last a long time by the look of the clips. I have found that not having a dryer greatly extends the life of all my clothing especially underwear, socks and summer shorts. Using a mesh bag to wash underwear and delicates also helps them to last longer.

Update: Have had these hangers 20 months now and they are in perfect working order. No broken clips. Sometimes they fall off but they are easily reattached. Love them!

  1. Which, these days (sadly), seems to be an increasingly rare thing. Since we're trying to reduce our use of our building's communal laundry machines - both to avoid the lines to use them, and reduce energy use, as well as reduce wear and tear on our clothes - this little hanger is one of the "weapons" in our new "arsenal" of drying racks. We need to hang all items in our bathroom only, as hanging things anyplace else only lures our cats into thinking there's new toys available to them. This hanger is great for lightweight items.

These are so useful that we bought nine more (total of nine = 3 more packs of 3). They are marvelous for hang drying pants and skirts as well as socks and other light items. Just use all the clips across the waistband of a skirt, or use four clips each on each leg of a pair of pants, and those items will dry fairly quickly due to air being able to circulate through the legs and up/around the skirt.

  2. These hangers are amazing! I've had them out on the line on a super windy day and they stayed right where I left them with all garments still secured in the clips. I use these hangers for anything I can think of: air-drying reusable bags, line-drying undergarments, washcloth-holder in the shower. I keep trying to find more uses for them.

Also, there are 3 hangers per order, so be sure to figure that in when ordering. I ordered 2 units (thinking I would get 2 hangers) but I ended up with 6 hangers all together (bonus!!). For the price I paid, I feel like I'm practically stealing them. Probably one of the best purchases I ever made on Amazon.

  5. I am very pleased with this product. It exceeded my expectations.

The laundry hanger organizer is a very nice space saver. There are 8 clips on each hanger. You get three hangers in each order. The hangers and clips are well made and are sturdy. The clips are easy to open, yet hold very well. The hangers have a very clever lock mechanism on the hanger so if you put it outside the wind does not blow it off the cloth line. I like drying things outside not only because it prolongs the life of the items but because they smell so nice when they are dried outside.

I am attaching a photo which shows how the lock mechanism works. It is open when you put it on a cloth line or bathroom curtain rod and then closes as you let go.

This order includes three hangers and I already found use for all of them. One is in the basement near the washing machine to air dry delicates when the weather is not nice outside or to dry out rags used in the basement. The second one is the bathroom shower rod to hold up clean wash cloths so they are readily available when I need them in the shower. And the third one on the deck to air dry delicates when the weather is nice.

This is a nice little gadget. There are a number of these space saver clip and drip hangers. I bought this one because I thought the locking mechanism would be useful, and my thinking turned out to be quite right! I highly recommend this hanger.

  6. I shouldn't have taken so long to recommend these. They are fantastic. They're strong (can hold a wet sheet and then some) and are great when traveling. It's surprising how many hotels don't have towel bars or hooks where you want them, and these will hold your towel. I find myself reaching for them all the time. They make laundry chores much easier - they hang on the shower rod and augment the drying capacity of the great chrome drying rack I also got through Amazon. Don't let the clippies get tangled though, or you'll be muttering...also, there's a very small learning curve for operating them, so to speak. You just have to let the curved part "relax" so it will open. A wonderful product.

  7. What fun to have this item handy. I like to hang my undies to dry as the drier often helps to destroy the elastic on these items. This is an easy and quick item to use, has held up very well and made a neat present to friends.

  8. It took me a while to figure out why the hooky part is made like it is~ right! It does keep it on the line if the wind picks up. I mainly use mine indoors for drying "unmentionables" either over the shower bar or an over-the-door hanger in the laundry area. These have been so popular with my family that I ended up giving them all away and now I'm ordering more. I've had the cheap type from the dollar store but the hooks always break on those. This kind is sturdy and saves $$ because your elastics don't get all stretched out like in the dryer.

  9. I just reordered these sturdy and most useful hangers. The last time was 2010 and not one clip on any of the 3 hangers has broken. They get constant use and I couldn't do with out them. I ordered more to give as gifts to my daughter and daughter in law. I keep my microfiber cloths hanging from them for handy use and quick drying. It is very easy to spread them or any item apart by using 2 or 3 clips at a time. I also use 2 hangers at a time for more drying room. I just spead them apart and use clips from each one. I couldn't do without them for drying any type of (pardon me) "undies" and the winner of them all socks that I don't want to put in the dryer. They really are invalueable and worth every penny. If they sold for $5 a piece I would still purchase them. You can't find them anywhere but on Amazon and the manufacturers's website but if you order from the mfg there is an extra charge for shipping. It always comes down to Amazon is the BEST!
